I research and support accessible and inclusive teaching and learning broadly and I also have a specific interest in disability inclusive additional language learning and teaching.
As the Accessibility Coordinator and Advocate for the College of Arts and Letters at Michigan State University (MSU), I lead accessibility and disability inclusion strategy in the college, engage in university-wide inclusion conversations, support faculty and teaching assistants in their accessible teaching efforts, and advocate for disabled students and their learning needs.
In my wide-ranging role as the Assistant Director of the Center for Language Teaching Advancement (CeLTA) at MSU, I engage in administrative strategic planning, set and implement center policies, mentor undergraduate and graduate students, and liaise with K-12 language education partners. I also teach a graduate course I designed for the MA in Foreign Language Teaching program on Individual Differences and accessibility for language teaching.
