I’m an Inclusive Pedagogy Fellow

I just learned that I was selected to be an Inclusive Pedagogy Fellow (IPF) for the academic year 2022-2023! (The Inclusive Pedagogy Fellows Program is a subcommittee of the College Inclusive Practices Committee). For a couple of years now, I have been developing disparate pedagogical elements related to the teaching of accessibility for additional language learning (e.g., an open-format assessment scheme and flexible rubric, a decolonized curriculum, and disability-inclusive and representative readings). As a fellow, I plan to use the dedicated development time and invaluable like-minded cohort support to sew together those disparate chunks in order to build and polish a future undergraduate methods course in accessibility for additional language learning. Exciting stuff! Stay tuned.
